Michael H. Perez: Director/Coach 

​

Coach Perez is a graduate of St. Mary’s University, SATX and has a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management 1993. Coach Perez was a 3 Year Letterman and shortstop for the Rattlers 1988-1992. Coach Perez has coached high school baseball and collegiately for 12 total  years while simultaneously launching Perez Recruiting Advisors & Texas Select All Star Showcase for uncommitted players (Baseball & Softball) for the Central/South Texas Baseball Community. Perez is married to his High School Sweetheart Theresa Valdez Perez and has 3 children, Olivia, Madelyn and Andres. Michael also had the God given privilege to play college baseball at St. Mary's University with both his older brothers Bobby A. Perez (MIF) and David Scooter Perez (RHP) at the same time during this first year at St. Mary's University in 1988-1989.

Coach Perez was All District, All City, All State SS John Jay HS, Player of the Year 1988 SA Express News. Part of the winning tradition at St. Mary's University and played under the leadership of Head Coach Charlie Migl. Michael is the Founder of Texas Reds Post Grad: Baseball - SATX. Coach Perez is an itinerant minister/chaplain at Adult & Teen Challenges and helps support the work of Fellowship of Christian Athletes in SATX. He gives all glory to God for any and all success. Michael Davila: Athletic Advisor/Coach

​

Former Head Baseball Coach at Laredo Junior College in Laredo and is currently serving as a Volunteer Coach at Texas A&M Kingsville D2 Program. Coach Davila is currently serving as  our an Advisor/Coach/Mentor and  College Coach Liaison. Davila is a native of Corpus Christi, graduated in 1994 from Mary Carroll High School and went on to Texas A&M Kingsville to finish his Bachelor's Degree. He also have 2 Masters Degree's (Athletic Administration and Exercise and Sports Science from Concordia University - Irvine. Coach Davila recently crossed the coaching milestone of being added to the “300 Win Club,” for Texas Coaches.

Tyler Tupper: Head Baseball Coach

​

Tyler is a graduate of Roosevelt HS and was recruited by San Jacinto JUCO in 2016. Tyler transferred to Mountain View College after his fall semester and put up some good numbers while completing his associates degree. He was recruited  Coach Mesker at Sul Ross State University while finishing his Bachelors Degree in 2021. Tyler was awarded All Conference status a 2 positions and was team lead with stolen bases.  Tyler's desire to coach College Level and eventually coach professionally in the MLB. Coach Tupper has been instrumental in laying the critical foundation for Texas Reds Post Grad in San Antonio and his insight and baseball IQ has afforded him the promotion to Head Coach for Spring 2023.

Joe Jimenez: Assistant Coach - Infield Coach 

​

2023 Graduate of University of the Incarnate Word: Jimenez appeared in 22 games for the Cardinals with 16 starts. He totaled eight runs, 16 hits, three doubles and three home runs to add to his 10 RBIs.

Previous: Texas Lutheran University

2021: Jimenez was a member of the 2021 SCAC Championship team that advanced to the NCAA Division III Baseball Wisconsin-Whitewater Regional. Jimenez was named to the All-West Region Team...He  earned SCAC First-Team Honors as a shortstop, and was named to the SCAC All-Tournament Team when the Bulldogs defeated Trinity (Texas) in the 'if-necessary' game in Cleburne, Texas...Led all Bulldogs with 12 stolen bases, second on the squad with 44 runs scored, second on the squad with 46 RBI, and third on the team with eight home runs. Had a fielding-percentage of .920 in 175 total defensive chances...Named SCAC Hitter-of-the-Week for Week 6 as he hit .500 for the week and drove in seven runs, including five runs in the conference series sweep of Austin College...He scored a run in each of the Bulldogs' four games last week, including three in the 21-3 series-opening victory over the Roos.

2020: Jimenez was named to the SCAC Spring Academic Honor Roll for the first time...Started all 13 games at shortstop for the Bulldogs before the season was canceled...Batted .271 in 48 at-bats in the middle of the lineup for TLU...Finished the year tied for fourth on the roster with 13 hits, tied for third with three doubles and was third on the team with two home runs...Was third on the team with 11 RBI and was successful in his only stolen base attempt on the year...Defensively, Jimenez was outstanding, making only one error in 45 total chances at shortstop and was also a part of 8 double plays.

2019: Jimenez earned SCAC Freshman-of-the-Year honors and was named SCAC Second Team shortstop in his first season with the Bulldogs...Became the starting shortstop for the Bulldogs just before SCAC play...Was a huge contributor for a TLU squad that won the SCAC regular-season title, played for the SCAC Championship at the conference tournament in Cleburne, Texas and played host in the NCAA Division III Baseball Seguin Regional...Made 31 starts at shortstop in his first year as a Bulldog and played in 34 total games...Led the Bulldogs in batting average with a .376 average with 117 at-bats...Tied for fifth on the roster with 29 runs scored, was fifth on team with 44 hits, tied for fourth with six doubles and was a perfect four-for-four in stolen base attempts...Finished his freshman campaign with 23 RBI...Hit his first collegiate home run against Austin College in Seguin during SCAC play in which the Bulldogs won by the way of a run-rule.

Jimenez is a graduate of Johnson High School in San Antonio...He played for Gorden Gesell.

Joe Jimenez -Defensive Specialist: Asst. Coach 
Coach Jimenez is a 29 year Air Force retiree who earned his Double Masters Degree in Organizational Development and Sports Management from the University of the Incarnate Word.  Coach Jimenez has instructed select baseball as well as collegiate players for 17 years. Coach Jimenez is celebrating 26 years of marriage to Bonnie Jimenez and has two sons, Joe Jimenez who is currently a SS at the University of the Incarnate Word and Zachary who is also a 2022 SS from Johnson HS. Both sons have received honors to include, All District, All State and All American. Jenavieve is a sophomore at Johnson HS and is on the dance team.

Cynthia Zamudio - Enrollment Lead Northwest Vista College - SATX

Ms. Zamudio serves as the direct contact for players needing assistance in
enrolling in a Community College here in SATX. Cynthia's knowledge about the
enrollment process, academic eligibility and degree planning is essential to our

players/families needing a true partner in the process.
