Gavin Machado brings a strong playing background and a passion for development to the coaching world. A Houston native, Machado was a standout at Clear Brook High School, earning First-Team All-District,First-Team All-Greater Houston, Second-Team All-State, and Perfect Game Honorable Mention All-American honors. He was also a Team MVP and Houston All-Star Game nominee. Over his collegiate career, Machado played at UTSA, Panola College, Galveston College, USAO, andOur Lady of the Lake University. He consistently contributed both on the field and in the classroom, being named to multiple All-Academic Teams. His highlights include leading Galveston to its first regional in over a decade, hitting over .300 in consecutive seasons at USAO, and earningSecond-Team All-Conference
honors in his final year at OLLU. Now transitioning into coaching, Machado is dedicated to passing o he knowledge and experience gained from 7 years of college baseball. With a foundation n leadership, high-level performance, and academic excellence, he is committed to
helping athletes grow on and off the field.

DANNY DIAL
PITCHING COACH
​Danny Dial is a former relief pitcher and current college baseball coach at Texas A&M International NCAA D2 Lonestar Conference. His baseball background and playing career details include: Collegiate Playing Career: Pitcher at Texas A&M International University (TAMIU), making 15 appearances out of the bullpen and recording 23 strikeouts in his top campaign. JUCO & High School: Prior to joining the Dustdevils, he pitched at Wharton County Junior College (where he earned All-Conference honors) and San Benito High School (where he tallied 128 strikeouts in a single season). Coaching Role: Transitioned into coaching to help unexposed South Texas players find collegiate homes. Coach Dial has a love for the game and has a heart to help young men build the essential tools that will help men be strong leaders in their families and communities.

Mrs. Zamudio has been our college liaison for Texas Reds for 5 years.
She has been essential for helping our athletes work through
college admissions, financial aid assistance and college
course selection. She represents the Alamo Colleges District that has
5 college campuses in the San Antonio area to serve all the student
athletes needs who are taking classes for their Associates Degree
needs.

Dr. Greg Gonzaba
Dr. Greg Gonzaba graduated from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, Texas, and earned his Medical Degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. Dr. Greg Gonzaba serves as Medical Director for Gonzaba Medical Group Northwest and SeaWorld of Texas. Dr. Greg Gonzaba is a physician in Internal Medicine and Occupational Medicine and has been practicing at Gonzaba Medical Group’s Northwest Clinic since 2000.
